Valmont Industries - 955 North Haverhill Road - Responsibilities:
Follow fit and layout instructions described in detail drawings and tack weld material into place;
Operate motorized grinders, buffers, stone grinders, and drills to prepare material for fitting and tacking;
Use overhead cranes or jib cranes to move and hold material in place;
Assemble products by tack welding various small parts to pole shafts using GMAW, FCAW, and/or SAW welding processes;
Read blueprints and specifications; maintain a clean, safe, organized workplace and adhere to LEAN practices
