Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and unencumbered RN license
• At least one year of nursing experience in a telemetry or step-down unit preferred
• Proficiency in ECG interpretation and telemetry monitoring
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and thrive in high-acuity scenarios

Schedule/Hours:

• Schedule and shift hours will be discussed during the interview process to align with your availability and the unit's needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize and respond to changes in patient status
• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, assessments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders
• Collaborate with physicians, cardiac technicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust patient care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding cardiac conditions, procedures, and ongoing care
• Accurately document care in medical records and ensure continuous communication across shifts
• Uphold infection control and patient safety protocols consistently
