The Painter/Carpenter performs all types of construction to include painting inside and out, finish painting, carpentry including rough-in and cabinetry and numerous related tasks, and other Facilities maintenance duties as assigned. The position reports to the General Supervisor at the Andover campus. Butler Community College offers a very generous benefits package. The benefits applicable to this position include:

Qualifications

• A. Must show pride in workmanship.
• B. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• C. Possess good communication skills.
• D. Must be able to work with other trades.
• E. Valid Kansas driver's license.
• F. Ability to lift minimum of 75 pounds.
• G. Ability to climb, stoop, bend, and work in awkward positions.
• H. Ability to work indoors and outdoors.

• A. Experience in use of trade related equipment.
• B. Minimum of 2-3 years painting/wood finishing and 2-3 years carpentry experience.

High School diploma or equivalent.
