Structural Welder

Are you an experienced Structural Welder with strong blueprint-reading skills and a background working with steel? If you take pride in precision, quality craftsmanship, and safe work practices, this is a great opportunity to put your skills to work in a fast-paced production environment!

Location: El Mirage, AZ
Schedule: Monday–Thursday,| 5AM - 3:30PM | 3:30 PM–2:00 AM | Overtime as needed
Pay Rate: $22.60–$25.05/HR

• Perform structural welding on steel beams, plates, and assemblies according to blueprints and specifications.

• Read and interpret structural drawings and blueprints to determine proper weld type, size, location, and thickness.

• Operate overhead cranes to safely move and position steel beams, plates, and assemblies using chains, grabs, and other rigging equipment.

• Operate welding equipment, including striking and maintaining arcs and guiding electrodes along designated weld lines.

• Use needle guns and other tools to clean welds and remove slag.

• Load welding wire spools and maintain welding equipment as needed.

• Inspect completed welds and assemblies to ensure they meet quality and production standards.

• Follow established safety procedures when welding, rigging, lifting, and handling structural steel.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Previous structural welding experience required.

• Must successfully pass the required company welding test.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and weld specifications.

• Strong understanding of welding processes, equipment, and techniques.

• Welding certification is a plus.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Ability to work independently while following established instructions and procedures.

• Ability to safely lift and handle steel and materials weighing approximately 10–50 lbs.

• Must have the strength, mobility, dexterity, vision, and hearing necessary to safely perform welding and material-handling duties.

• Ability to wear a respirator when required.
