2nd Shift Material Handler
Join our team as a Material Handler and contribute to the safe and efficient movement of steel products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment!
Location:
El Mirage, AZ
Schedule:
Monday – Thursday, Fridays as needed | 5AM - 3:30 PM | 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM Pay rate: $21.45 - $22.15 per hour
Duties:
- Operate overhead crane systems to lift and move steel beams, plates, and assemblies
- Use chains, grabs, and rigging tools to safely secure materials
- Move smaller steel parts and tools manually (10–50 lbs)
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and tractors to transport materials
- Load and unload materials from trucks and railcars
- Assist with cleaning, painting, and organizing steel and production areas
- Perform general housekeeping and routine maintenance
Requirements:
- Previous overhead crane experience required
- Ability to meet physical demands including strength, stamina, mobility, vision, and hearing
- Ability to wear required PPE and work safely around heavy equipment
- Must successfully complete required training period prior to permanent shift assignment
