Nurse Practitioner-Occupational Medicine

Overview

Banner Occupational Health and Wellness, a dedicated full-service occupational health provider, is looking for a dynamic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to help us grow our services in the Phoenix Metro Area, the fifth-largest metro area in the United States.

• Perform baseline and annual physical examinations.
• Evaluate, treat, and follow up on industrial injuries and non-industrial medical conditions.
• Assess exposures to infectious and hazardous materials.
• Provide occupational medicine services in a large, multistate program.
• Maintain a 1:4 call ratio; work Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

• NP or PA‑C designation (AANP/NCCPA).
• Current prescribing privileges, including a DEA license for controlled substances.
• Current Arizona license or eligibility to obtain one.
• ACLS/BLS certification.
• Experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or orthopedics preferred; new graduates will be considered.
• Mentorship available.
• Certification to perform NRCME (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). examinations required.
• Ability to read and interpret EKGs and exercise treadmill stress tests preferred, or will receive training within six months.
