Longo Lexus Valet​/Car Wash

Overview

Our Car Wash/Valet team creates the first and last impression for our guests. The role involves moving vehicles smoothly, safely, and efficiently, representing the dealership in a professional and friendly manner. This is a full‑time entry level position at Longo Lexus in El Monte, CA, with opportunities for advancement to Service Consultant, Service Technician, Sales Consultant, or other roles within the organization.

• Base hourly rate of $18.00.
• Weekly pay – employees are paid every Friday.
• Full‑time schedule; part‑time options available.

• Install and remove disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and  in all vehicles brought into service.
• Drive vehicles from the service lane to their proper places in the service parking lot in a neat and organized manner.
• Ensure all vehicles in the service parking lot are secured.
• Assist in moving disabled vehicles in or around the service department.
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot.
• Help maintain a professional appearance of the service department.
• Inspect each vehicle for lot damage that may have occurred during the vehicle’s stay in the service department.
• Follow all company safety policies and practices.
• Assist in all other areas of the service department as needed.
• Maintain high ethical standards and a professional appearance at all times.
• Work 100% on site at Longo Lexus in El Monte, CA.

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of six (6) months of customer service experience (desired).
• Ability to coordinate activities with other employees; read and comprehend instructions in English; work well with the public.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Energetic, self‑motivated, a team player, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude.

• Frequently bend, stretch, twist, or reach.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear.
• Operate outdoors in all weather conditions, including low and high temperatures, precipitation, wind, and noisy environments.
• Adjust, move, and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
• Move self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments, including tight and confined spaces.
• Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
• Ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
