Dispatcher – Transdev, El Monte, CA
Transdev is hiring a Dispatcher to oversee road service through coordination with Operators and to provide customer support to clients. The role requires a customer‑service focused professional dedicated to safety.
Employment Details- Non‑CBA position
- Competitive compensation: minimum $20.16 ($41,932.80) – maximum $21.22 ($44,137.60)
- Vacation: minimum 2 weeks
- Sick days: 5 days
- Holidays: 12 days (8 standard, 4 floating)

- Oversee road service carriers by tracking trip performance, ensuring routes begin on time, and monitoring incidents.
- Provide customer support, responding to questions and concerns about trips, including no‑shows, cancellations, and missed trips.
- Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators, acting as liaison between carriers and emergency services.
- Review route performance daily and proactively address situations impacting customer service.
- Perform other duties as required.
- High School Diploma or GED (Technical Degree preferred).
- 3‑5 years of dispatching experience.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Availability to work weekends; open availability preferred.
- Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
- Work shifts or flexible schedules as needed.
- Job includes long periods of sitting, typing, or computer use.
- Environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings.
