Instructional Support Specialist IV

Job Title

Performs specialized instructional support to individuals and groups of students, staff training on special topics, and coordination of special programs. This class also applies to licensed vocational professionals such as LVN, LPN, or Physical Therapy Assistant who are integrating significant para-professional health care services with instructional support.

Must have first aid card and CPR certificate, LVN license desired. The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, 48 college units, plus specialized training and two years of experience working in a classroom environment containing students with special needs. Must pass the El Monte City School District Proficiency test and plus specialized training and two years of experience working in a classroom environment with special needs students.

Additional college coursework may be used to substitute for experience. In lieu of application, current El Monte City School District employees are to submit a letter of intent via district email to rpano, indicating PAF# 1267227.
