Location: El Monte, CA & Surrounding Areas

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Pay: $20-$25/hour (based on experience)

As a Behavior Classroom Aide (Behavior Technician) with Amergis Healthcare Staffing, you will play an important role in supporting students with special needs within the Mountain View School District. From the first day of school, you will help foster a positive, structured environment where students can build confidence, independence, and essential life skills.

• Make an impact from day one by supporting students as they transition into a new school year
• Consistent, school-based schedule with evenings, weekends, and holidays off
• Collaborative environment working alongside teachers and behavior specialists
• Valuable hands-on experience with ABA strategies and classroom support
• Supportive, mission-driven team committed to your success

• Provide 1:1 and small-group behavioral support in classroom settings
• Implement ABA-based strategies to encourage positive behaviors
• Assist with de-escalation and crisis intervention when needed
• Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress
• Support students in building independence, focus, and confidence
• Partner with school staff to maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Experience in education, ABA, or behavior intervention (preferred)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patient, positive, and student-centered mindset
• Passion for helping children succeed
