This position is responsible for assisting in the review and accuracy of the HDMA loan data required to be collected and reported in accordance with the Bank and HMDA regulatory requirements.

• Assist by performing data entry validation and quality checks on loan data for accurate reporting.
• Scrub and audit file loan data to uncover any systematic problems, discrepancies, or data integrity issues.
• Perform second line reviews on Mortgage Loans and Bank Purchase Loans.
• Work with various mortgage operations team members as well as other areas of the Bank to correct data within the loan origination system (Empower) or on the LAR.
• Report any potential concerns about non-compliance with HMDA regulatory requirements.

• Education:
  
  College graduate with major in accounting or business preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Corporate work experience and some mortgage lending or banking experience with good knowledge of lending regulations and loan processing in a multi-state lending environment is strongly preferred.
• Skills/Ability:
  Analytical and research skills; planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills; good written and verbal communication skills; must be able to adapt well to a fast paced and constantly changing business environment; PC proficient at the intermediate level; demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment; bilingual English/Chinese is a plus.

$20.00 – $22.00 / hour
Pay determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
