The Project Manager plays a critical role in managing the client onboarding experience. This experienced level Global Transaction Payments position coordinates with East West Bank and client executives to deliver superior service and products. The role requires up‑to‑date industry knowledge of treasury management products, including trends, product capability, and documentation/agreements. Strong analytical, detail‑oriented and communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential. Job functions may vary, and other duties may be assigned based on business needs.
Responsibilities- Manage multiple project onboardings of complex and technical services (e.g., transmissions, Integrated Payables, Positive Pay, API integrations, and more).
- Serve as the primary contact for internal and external clients regarding onboarding status, customized service setup, account opening, training, go‑live, and post‑implementation review.
- Maintain thorough documentation throughout the onboarding lifecycle.
- Complete assignments within service level time frames while meeting policy and procedural requirements.
- Meet with customers in person and via video conference calls.
- Resolve client requests and issues independently.
- Provide best‑in‑class service to large commercial clients.
- Offer feedback on trends and elevate concerns when appropriate.
- Participate in inter‑department projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Knowledgeable with industry standard file formats (BAI, NACHA, ISO
20022, etc.) and system configurations. - Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to organize and coordinate multiple assignments to completion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of working under minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment while meeting or exceeding service level agreements.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to resolve complex issues.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the current regulatory environment; adherence to bank risk vision, risk management policies, and proactive risk mitigation.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including overtime.
- PC literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) with routine troubleshooting ability.
- 5+ years of implementation project management experience.
- 4+ years of treasury management experience.
- 8+ years of banking experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge of BSA/AML/OFAC laws and regulations and their application to the role.
- Experience with niche markets such as entertainment, private equity, asset‑based lending, capital markets, sponsor finance, and treasury management products, including worksheet set‑up, bank legal agreements, and system requirements.

CompensationThe base pay range for this position is 86,000.00 to per year. Exact offers will be determined based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
