Payroll Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be part of the Payroll Department supporting the Payroll Team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $27 - $31/hr

** Shift:
** 8 am - 5 pm

** Duration:
** 6 months

** What's the Job?*
* + Support the Payroll Team with processing the company's payroll, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

+ Ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time for semi-monthly and biweekly pay periods.

+ Maintain payroll records, execute company policies, and support benefits administration and employee engagement initiatives.

+ Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and records to auditors.

+ Respond promptly and professionally to payroll inquiries from managers and employees.

** What's Needed?*
* + Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or related field, or a certificate in Human Resource Management.

+ 2-3 years of payroll and/or HR administration experience.

+ Extensive knowledge of labor regulations, HIPAA compliance, and wage & hour laws.

+

Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.

+ Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
