Summary of Position The Supply Chain Associate is responsible for coordinating the flow of goods across the operation, including order fulfillment, shipping and logistics, and inventory control. Under the supervision of the department supervisors, you will serve as a hub across all departments — clinical lab, R&D, sales, and insurance teams — to coordinate the prompt handling of orders, ensure accurate and timely fulfillment, maintain inventory records, and deliver best-in-class service to our customers.
You will gain insight into all aspects of how a state-of-the-art genetic lab is run and how new products are developed.
Key Job Elements Assemble, prepare, and replenish collection kits and related materials according to established procedures and specifications.
Verify components, quantities, labeling, and packaging to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Monitor inventory and supply levels and communicate replenishment needs to prevent shortages.
Receive, unpack, count, inspect, and stock incoming materials and supplies.
Organize, store, and maintain inventory in designated warehouse, stockroom, and supply locations.
Pick, stage, and distribute inventory, kits, and supplies based on operational needs.
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory activities to maintain inventory accuracy.
Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, shortages, or other issues to the appropriate team member or supervisor.
Maintain accurate inventory transactions and records using established systems and processes.
Follow established procedures for inventory handling, labeling, storage, rotation, and material movement.
Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked work and inventory areas.
Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Follow company safety policies, procedures, and applicable material-handling requirements.
Support general Supply Chain activities and other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/ExperienceH.S. diploma required.
Specialized or technical training is preferred.
Minimum of 1 year (12 months) of experience in shipping, logistics, fulfillment, or a warehouse/service department in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of shipping techniques and processes.
Knowledge of PHI and HIPAA guidelines.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Experience using forklift, pallet jack, etc.
Skills Typing skills.
Excellent writing, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong Office Suite skills:
Word and Excel.
Excellent organizational skills.
Abilities Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Ability to multi-task and handle deadlines.
Ability to actively listen and anticipate customer needs, with strong attention to detail.
Physical Requirements Position requires the ability to sit and use a PC for long periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
