Position: CNC Machine Shop Supervisor (2nd Shift)

CNC Machine Shop Supervisor (2nd Shift)

Experience: Senior Level
Salary: $34 - $50 per hour

Qualifications
  • Bilingual English and Spanish required
  • 7+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a machine shop setting
  • Strong hands‑on experience with CNC mills and lathes, including setup and troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machining specifications
  • Proficiency in CNC program adjustments and machine‑level edits
  • Experience training or mentoring machinists in production environments
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and fabrication methods
Schedule

Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM

Job Duties
  • Oversee daily machining operations within the machine shop, including CNC milling and turning work
  • Perform and support complex CNC setups and program adjustments directly at the machine
  • Monitor production flow to ensure jobs are completed on schedule and meet quality expectations
  • Train, coach, and supervise machinists to improve performance, consistency, and safety practices
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues and support smooth workflow
  • Inspect parts and verify conformance to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Track tooling conditions, machine performance, and material usage to reduce downtime and waste
  • Support continuous improvement efforts focused on efficiency, safety, and product quality
