Position: 2nd Shift Machine Shop Supervisor, Metal Fabrication / CNC Operations at Jobot
Job SummaryWe design, engineer, and manufacture industry-leading machinery for the production of flatbreads and snack foods. The 2nd Shift Machine Shop Supervisor will lead machine operator personnel, oversee CNC operations, and ensure production meets schedule and quality standards.
Compensation$35 - $50 per hour

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of machine operator personnel on the 2nd shift
- Program, set up, and troubleshoot CNC fabrication equipment as needed
- Manage workflow to keep production on schedule and meet delivery deadlines
- Train and mentor team members on equipment operation, safety protocols, and quality procedures
- Monitor tool wear, maintenance schedules, and raw material inventory
- Collaborate with engineering, welding, and assembly departments to maintain smooth production flow
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality, efficiency, and safety
- 7+ years of experience in machining
- 3+ years in a lead or supervisory role within a machine shop or metal fabrication environment
- Strong understanding of CNC programming, machine setup, and fabrication processes
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and hold a team accountable in a fast‑paced production setting
- Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills with a commitment to safety and precision
