Hands-on Product Designer responsible for designing and releasing production-ready drawings for stainless steel equipment, collaborating directly with production and fabrication teams on real projects in El Monte, CA.
Responsibilities- Design stainless steel products including worktables, cabinets, and custom equipment
- Create accurate 3D models and shop drawings for manufacturing
- Collaborate closely with the fabrication team on cutting, bending, welding, and polishing
- Iterate designs based on real production feedback
- Manage custom projects according to client specifications
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or Solid Works
- Strong understanding of sheet metal design
- Ability to produce production-ready drawings
- Familiarity with tolerances, dimensions, and fabrication constraints
- Good communication with shop and production teams

We are seeking a hands-on product designer who can design and release production-ready drawings for stainless steel equipment with minimal supervision. This is not a conceptual role — you will be working directly with our production team on real projects.

- Experience with stainless steel or commercial kitchen equipment
- Familiarity with NSF standards
- Prior experience working in a factory or workshop
Salary range: USD 51,876 - 62,474 per year.
