This per diem position offers flexible, as‑needed shifts to support students 1:1 within a structured school environment. Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized 1:1 nursing support to students as directed by teachers and school staff
- Assist with medical needs, daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
- Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements
- Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere
- Active Licensed Professional Nurse (LPN/LVN) license
- High school diploma or GED minimum
- At least 18 years of age
- Current TB test according to district guidelines
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
- Current clearances for school employment or willingness to obtain before starting
- Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
- Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- Training or experience in CPR, G‑Tube, or Tracheostomy care (preferred but not required)
- Reliable, patient, and collaborative team player
