Hiring a full-time QA Lab Technician in El Monte, CA.
Compensation: $20.00 – $32.00 per hour (based on experience)
Type:
Full-time, Hourly
- Perform routine laboratory testing and sample analysis on incoming raw materials, ingredients, and finished products according to QA standards.
- Collect environmental samples and conduct swabbing (ATP swabbing).
- Accurately document, record, and track test data in Excel spreadsheets and QA logs.
- Check, calibrate, and verify plant and laboratory instruments and thermometers.
- Assist production teams with line start-up and changeover testing.
Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, or related technical field; OR at least 5 years of quality lab experience (food/dairy/beverage manufacturing preferred).
Hands-on familiarity with food safety standards: HACCP, GMPs, and SQF. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic computer documentation.
Comfortable working in a plant environment with wet areas, cold coolers, and required PPE. Interested?
