OverviewBeing the next generation Business Relationship Officer at East West Bank means you are part of a world‑class team that focuses on delivering a high quality, high‑touch, and high‑tech relationship banking experience across all customer touchpoints.
- Managing and retaining existing customers and cultivating new relationships to expand East West Bank’s customer base, grow assets, loans, and deposits.
- Working with internal business partners to facilitate connections and help customers with specialized financial needs.
- Achieve quarterly/annual goals through business generation of C&I, CRE, mortgages, SBA, treasury management, deposits, investments, and international and other commercial and consumer products offered through East West Bank.
- Understand the bank’s credit policy to identify client eligibility for loan products and provide strategy‑based solutions.
- Motivate, coach, and provide guidance to employees to achieve sales and service goals.
- Efficiently manage time and be result driven.
- Be an expert in using digital resources and technologies to optimize clients’ digital banking experience and possess the aptitude to learn new programs.
- Educate customers on how to use digital platforms to bank and invest when, where, and how they want.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree or business‑relevant associate degree (e.g., business management, admin, or finance) preferred.
- 3+ years in commercial lending and/or consultative relationship sales with a proven sales track record.
- In‑depth knowledge of bank credit and deposit products; experience in international activities between the U.S. and Greater China preferred.
- Strong sales and service skills, including prospecting and networking.
- Proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results.
- Strong financial acumen and communication skills.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills; able to manage client concerns.
- Ability to learn and adapt to the latest information and technology platforms.
- Strong desire and capability to influence, educate, and connect teams, partners, and customers to technology.

CompensationBase pay range: USD $69,000.00 per year – USD $75,000.00 per year. Exact offers will be determined based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
