Account Receivable Analyst
Shift: 08 am to 05:00 pm
Pay: $15.00
Account Receivable Analyst SummaryThe Account Receivable Analyst is responsible for processing and managing customer accounts. The role will apply customer payments, reconcile accounts, and prepare customer invoices. The Account Receivable Analyst will analyze customer accounts on a weekly basis to ensure the customer is current and resolve any discrepancies timely. The role will also prepare monthly customer statements and work with the customer for timely payments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform activities in the accounts receivable department
- Specialize in clearing customer deductions, billing and collecting, and handling large volumes of data input
- Daily invoicing of customers, posting customer payments, and following up on past‑due invoices with customers
- Process customer deductions for programs and contract billbacks, settle freight claims, and perform daily AR reconciliation
- Reconciling to clients billing record
- HS Diploma or GED, College credits in accounting/finance
- Prior experience working in an accounting environment is required
- Bookkeeping experience is a plus
Skills and Abilities
- 1 year+ bookkeeping experience
- Discount, allowance, and trade spending knowledge preferred
- Excellent analytical skills
- Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Proficient in Excel and VLOOKUPs
- Detail-oriented and a self‑starter
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong mathematical skills
- Knowledge of account receivable processes
- Accounting knowledge
- Accounting software experience
- Data analytics skills
- Payroll experience
- Analysis skills
