Collections Specialist
Location: Hybrid (El Paso, TX)
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Schedule: 8-hour shift between 6:30am–6:00pm, Monday–Friday
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Are you skilled at providing excellent customer service in an office setting? Kelly Services is hiring a motivated Collections Specialist for our team in El Paso, TX! In this role, you’ll focus on Accounts Receivable and B2B collections — calling business clients to collect on past‑due invoices while ensuring every interaction is professional and service‑oriented.
What You’ll Do- Handle inbound and outbound calls and emails with clients regarding past‑due accounts, billing questions, and account reconciliation
- Proactively contact business clients to collect on overdue invoices (B2B collections)
- Update payment statuses, post confirmations from cash operations, and address invoice disputes
- Research and resolve accounts receivable issues, working closely with clients and internal teams
- Monitor aged/open items on accounts and assist with reconciliation processes
- Provide world‑class customer service to maintain positive client relationships and support client retention
- Prepare and distribute client reports, data files, and correspondence as needed
- Work with banks and other parties to resolve payment issues
- Meet or exceed call center performance metrics
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 1+ year of customer service experience, ideally in an office or call center environment
- Experience with accounts receivable or B2B collections (calling clients to collect on past‑due invoices)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong professional communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
