Administrative Assistant

Looking to fill position near Van Horn, Texas. Barnard Construction Company, Inc., based in Bozeman, Montana, is a heavy‑civil construction company with projects underway across North America. We specialize in dam construction and rehabilitation, power transmission and distribution, tunneling, inland marine, oil, gas, utility, and sewer and water pipeline projects.

• Experience using a multi‑line phone system, with the ability to screen communications based on predetermined guidelines
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask with attention to detail
• Dependable and punctual
• Experience working on cross‑functional teams
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, specifically Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong self‑motivation

This is a temporary position.

• Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls
• Receive and direct visitors and guests
• Handle daily UPS, FEDEX and USPS shipments
• Order office supplies
• Provide administrative support to project personnel
• Assist new employees with the completion of their new hire paperwork
• Establish and maintain administrative files and records
