Supports the Director and assists in coordination and provision of secretarial support to the department.

Minimum Position Requirements:

• Work Experience:
• Two (2) years increasingly responsible secretarial experience or equivalent office management experience, preferably in the Healthcare industry.
• Education and Training:
• High school graduate or GED equivalent.

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Access, Power Point, and Lotus Notes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient of English grammar, punctuation and spelling. Ability to read and comprehend English in order to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of varied Medical terminology necessary to complete reports with minimal delays.
• Knowledge of supplies, equipment ordering and inventory control.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Typing speed 40 wpm.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
