Join the Border Tire team Border Tire is hiring a Mount/Dismount Technician in El Paso, TX!/strong/p pThe Mount/Dismount Technician is responsible forsafely and efficiently removing, installing, inflating, and inspecting tires and wheels on commercial, industrial, and passenger vehicles. This role plays a key part in ensuring vehicle safety and customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality tire services in a timely manner./p pstrong

Responsibilities:/strong/p ul li Mount and dismount tires from wheels using proper tools and safety procedures./li li Install and remove wheels and tires from vehicles./li li Inflate tires to recommended pressure using air compressors and gauges./li li Inspect tires and wheels for wear, damage, and any signs of defect or safety concerns./li li Balance tires and wheelsusingcomputerized or manual balancing equipment./li li Maintainaccuraterecords of work completed and materials used./li

li Operate tire-changing machines, torque wrenches, jacks, and other shop equipment./li li Keepworkarea clean, safe, and organizedat all times./li li Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures./li li Report any faulty equipment, workplace hazards, or customer concerns to supervisorimmediately./li li Assist with inventory tracking and restocking tire supplies when needed./li li Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally./li

Qualifications:

/strong/p ul liHigh school diploma or GED preferred./li li Prior experience in tire service or mechanical shop preferred but notrequiredtrainingprovided./li li Valid drivers license withacceptabledriving record (if road service is required)./li li Ability tolift upto 75lbsfrequentlyand perform physically demanding work./li li Strong attention to detail and safety-minded attitude./li li Basic mechanical skills and ability to use hand/power tools./li li Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow directions./li

liMust be able to work in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods./li /ul pstrong
