This onsite role is crucial for driving our procurement strategies and ensuring the seamless sourcing of goods and services necessary for our operations. As a Senior Buyer you will control purchasing programs by establishing purchasing policies and procedures for the Company. Coordinates activities in purchasing for the organization. Creates and implements purchasing strategies to accomplish procurement of required services, equipment, etc.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field from an accredited educational institution.
- At least 5 years of experience in support of purchasing, placing orders, processing purchase requisitions or orders, inventory control, or contract administration; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies
- Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Control and approve purchasing department budgets and requests
- Provide administration approval and updates as needed in Acumatica along with training new users
- Review and send out approved purchase orders
- Set up new vendors through a checklist to include negotiation and gathering quotes for all services and purchases
- Maintain and prepare the Special Purchase Requests database and renewal to present for executive approval
- Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment
- Administer Egencia and company travel by guiding users through appropriate approvals
- Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures
- Prepare quarterly updates of costs to ensure the company is compliant with purchases
- Effective negotiation skills with vendors regarding pricing
