Job Description

Under general direction and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and corporate TECHNIMARK, procedures and guidelines, this position:
Manages the following processes for border multi-location operation in compliance with all US, Mexico and European government regulations, as well as Technimark policies for movement of raw material, assembled product, equipment, supplies, and retuned product.

  • Tariff classifications.
  • Import/export duty payments.
  • Import/export permits and licenses.
  • Import/export transaction processing.
  • FDA clearance for all US imports from Juarez; initial contact for FDA border issue resolution.
  • Border transportation.
  • Customs statutory reporting as required by government authorities.
  • Customs internal controls.
  • Analyzes and advises management on impact of changes related to US and Mexican Customs laws and regulations.
  • Manages Customs department budget.
  • Provide performance and potential feedback for direct reports, partnering with them to prepare short and long-term development plans.
  • Sets standards for safe behavior.
  • Ensures that direct reports employ safety practices.
  • Enforces safety policies and procedures.
  • Represents Juarez Technimark operating company upon Mexico Customs.
  • Follow Technimark records management policies for convenience information, records retention schedules, training, and education, document hold notices, records cleanout, inactive records and information management, vital records, and third-party vendor if applicable.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to the next management level.
  • Responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all company guidelines related to health, safety and environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition.
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • This position travels occasionally Performs other duties assigned as needed.
