We are partnered with a leading general contractor and are accepting resumes for highly motivated professionals to fill a Superintendent role based in El Paso, TX. This is an experienced position requiring a minimum of 7 years of experience in water/wastewater treatment plant or pipeline construction.
Responsibilities- Supervise all phases of construction activities related to water/wastewater treatment plants and pipeline projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors to maintain workflow and resolve field issues
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of construction principles related to water/wastewater infrastructure, including structural components, pipelines, pump stations, and related systems
- Monitor and enforce compliance with project specifications, drawings, and safety regulations
- Interpret and execute the project schedule and effectively communicate changes as they arise
- Understand project budgets and control field costs in accordance with approved budgets
- Effectively train and mentor foremen and crew leaders
- Develop project plans in collaboration with the Project Manager and drive project milestones
- Provide day-to-day on-site leadership and ensure project teams have the resources and support needed to meet project goals
- Ensure effective management of changes throughout the life of the project
- 7+ years of construction experience, preferably on water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, or large-scale pipeline projects
- Proven leadership experience managing complex infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, equipment, and safety practices related to water/wastewater or pipeline work
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of common Microsoft Office programs
- Willingness to work long hours as project demands require
