Position
Experienced Excavator Operator – Equipment Operator – Excavator
Location:
El Paso, TX / Santa Teresa, NM.
Southland Holdings, a leading heavy civil contractor specialized in large‑diameter open cut and tunneled water, sewer, and storm pipe projects ranging from 8" to 96" and associated dirt work and paving.
Responsibilities- Dig pipe ditches in streets or open land, bench, slope, or pull boxes, and use street plates.
- Operate excavator in a variety of ground conditions and depths.
- Maintain equipment in good condition to achieve high production and safety standards.
- Work 5–6 days per week, 50–60 hours per week.
- Experience in excavator operation for large‑diameter pipe, sewer–storm, or similar civil construction projects.
- Documentation of related project experience.
