The Registered Dental Hygienist is a full-time, on-site role based at Davis Dental in El Paso, TX. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing comprehensive dental prophylaxis, periodontal assessments, scaling and root planing, and other preventive hygiene services. The hygienist will provide patient education on oral hygiene techniques, periodontal health, and treatment plans, and will document findings accurately in patient records. This role collaborates closely with the dentist and dental team to support clinical diagnoses, treatment planning, and overall patient care.
Additional responsibilities include adhering to infection control protocols, taking x-rays, maintaining operatory readiness, and contributing to a positive, respectful, and inclusive patient experience.
- Strong clinical skills in Dentistry and Dental Care, with the ability to support a wide range of general dental procedures.
- Demonstrated expertise in Hygiene and Dental Prophylaxis, including routine cleanings and preventive oral health services.
- Knowledge and experience in managing Periodontal Disease, including periodontal charting, treatment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Texas, in good standing.
- Current CPR/BLS certification and familiarity with OSHA and infection control standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and support patients of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based clinical environment and manage time efficiently in a busy practice.
- Experience with dental practice management or electronic health record systems is preferred.
