The Surgical Dental Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in the El Paso Metropolitan Area. This role supports the dentist during surgical and routine dental procedures, including preparing treatment rooms, arranging instruments, and assisting chairside. Daily responsibilities include sterilizing and organizing equipment, maintaining strict infection control protocols, and documenting patient procedures and histories. The Surgical Dental Assistant helps with patient preparation and post-operative instructions, monitors patient comfort and safety, and coordinates with the front office to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role also involves maintaining supplies, supporting technology use in the operatory, and collaborating with the clinical team to deliver consistent, patient-centered care.

• Strong skills in Dental Care and Dentistry to support routine and surgical procedures.
• Demonstrated experience assisting with Oral Surgery and surgical dental treatments.
• Knowledge of Infection Control practices and sterilization protocols in a clinical setting.
• Commitment to high-quality Patient Care, including comfort, safety, and clear communication.
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience.
• Current dental assistant certification and any required state-specific licenses or registrations.
• CPR/BLS certification and familiarity with dental radiography (X-ray) procedures preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment and follow detailed clinical instructions.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a professional, patient-focused demeanor.
