Junior Interior Designer

SJS Executives LLC seeks a Junior Interior Designer to support federal and commercial projects. In this role, you will assist senior designers with space planning, test fits, and interior layouts; prepare drawings, presentations, and 3D visuals; and help select finishes, furnishings, and fixtures that meet performance, safety, and aesthetic standards. You will coordinate with architects, engineers, and vendors, contribute to construction documents, and support site surveys and punch lists.

Responsibilities

• Support senior interior designers with space planning, layouts, and test fits for federal and commercial facilities
• Prepare interior design drawings, redlines, and presentation boards using Auto
• CAD, Revit, and 3
• D tools
• Assist with selection and documentation of finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment to meet project standards
• Contribute to construction documents, schedules, and specifications in coordination with architects and engineers
• Participate in site surveys, field verification, and punch lists to ensure design intent is met
• Research products, materials, and applicable building codes, ADA, and client standards
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients while maintaining SJS's mission-focused, safety-conscious culture
