Neonatologist - Texas Tech University, Level IV NICU

Major Texas Academic Medical Center | Dedicated Childrens Hospital

Practice Highlights
:

  • Academic Level IV NICU: 50 beds with robust subspecialty access; practice at full scope in a high?acuity, teaching environment.
  • Collaborative Team: Cohesive neonatologists, NNPs, and pediatric residents; no fellows currently, so your teaching and leadership have immediate impact.
  • Predictable Schedule: 1-2 week service blocks with a manageable, well?supported in?house call rotation that protects your off?time.
  • Delivery?

    Room Leadership:
    Consistent involvement in high?risk deliveries with streamlined OB coordination.
  • Growth & Innovation: Shape evolving Neuro?

    NICU, Small Baby, and POCUS programs; lead QI, protocols, and curricula.
  • Additional Compensation: Ability to moonlight within the department for additional compensation.

Compensation & Benefits
:

  • Salary: Competitive academic base commensurate with rank/experience.
  • Bonus & Incentives: Signing & relocation bonuses including Fellowship stipend up to $30,000 (eligible candidates).

Candidate Profile
:

  • RequiredBE/BC in Neonatal?

    Perinatal Medicine; commitment to team?based care, education, and Level IV acuity.
  • Preferred:Experience or interest in POCUS, Neuro?

    NICU/Small Baby development, QI, and resident teaching. Spanish helpful, not required.
