Endocrinologist

Tenet Healthcare and The Hospitals of Providence - Transmountain Campus is actively seeking an Endocrinologist to join an established practice at a brand-new academic facility. This full-time role involves providing clinical services in both outpatient and inpatient settings with no call responsibilities. The ideal candidate will also engage in academic teaching and scholarly activities within a state-of-the-art healthcare environment.

Practice Info

• Brand-new academic facility
• Outpatient and inpatient settings
• Daily patient census of 8-10 patients per half-day of clinic and 3-5 inpatient consults per week
• Located at The Hospitals of Providence Transmountain Campus in El Paso, TX

Responsibilities

• Provide consultations and clinical services in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Supervise residents and participate in teaching activities for medical students and residents
• Engage in scholarly activities, including at least one peer-reviewed manuscript per year and submission of abstracts or posters to national meetings

Shift & Schedule

• Full Time
• Typical work schedule includes 7 half-days of clinic per week
• No call

Requirements

• MD/DO degree
• BE/BC
• Active Texas license or eligibility to obtain one
• Passion for ambulatory care and teaching
