Taylor Robinson Music is seeking private music instructors to teach multiple instruments in the El Paso area. We do not have a brick‑and‑mortar studio; lessons may take place in students’ homes, instructors’ homes, or via webcam. Most students prefer in‑person lessons, so local instructors who can host students or travel within El Paso are needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual music lessons, creating and teaching curriculum and lesson plans.
• Travel to students’ homes or host lessons at your own studio as required.
• Maintain timely communication with students and the office.
• Ensure punctuality and organization for all lessons.
• Adhere to COVID‑19 safety protocols, including mask wearing, hand sanitization, and social distancing.

Qualifications

• Formal music training not mandatory; must hold a degree in music, be enrolled in a music program, have professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills, particularly with children.
• Excellent communication; organized and punctual.
• Independent contractor mindset; ability to set own schedule and curriculum.

Compensation and Support

• Pay on an independent contractor basis, $20–$30 per hour depending on travel time, experience/education, and student retention.
• Free advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing support provided.
