At TX-STAR Speech Language Services, we partner with school districts across Texas to support students with diverse learning needs. We are currently hiring Certified Special Education Teachers for school-based opportunities in the El Paso area.
This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about inclusive education and want to make a meaningful impact through specialized instruction and student support.
What You’ll DoAs a Special Education Teacher, you will provide individualized instruction and collaborate with school teams to support students with a variety of learning needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implement and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to student needs
- Adapt curriculum, materials, and teaching strategies for accessibility and inclusion
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on data and outcomes
- Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Utilize assistive technology and instructional supports to enhance learning
- Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid Texas Special Education teaching certification
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education services
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Master’s degree preferred
- School-based experience is a plus
- School-based, on-site positions in the El Paso area
