Electrical Apprenticeship Instructor- Bilingual

Technical Training Consultant – responsible for the implementation and delivery of Learning & Development technical and trade-related training and services in construction, engineering, manufacturing, and renewable energy.

• Effectively facilitate electrical apprenticeship, Quick Start, and trade-related training classes.
• Collaborate with the Apprenticeship Team to research, recommend, develop, pilot, and implement new technical/trade training programs.
• Design and develop technical/trade curriculum based on organizational needs.
• Conduct jobsite or on-site coaching and development for employees related to audits or novel work or crisis jobs.
• Develop relationships with operational leaders to facilitate open dialogue and trust.
• Support and provide guidance to the Apprenticeship Coordinator in coordinating apprenticeship programs.
• Work with the L&D team and subject‑matter experts to continually improve content, activities, and delivery.
• Continuously increase knowledge of L&D craft.
• Actively participate in professional and trade-related organizations.
• Demonstrate acceptance of company culture, adherence to company values, and professional standards.

• Education:
  
  Completion of an apprenticeship program or an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience:
  
  Strong technical background and 5 years related experience in electrical, specialty systems, or related trade, plus 1–2 years facilitation experience.
• Travel:
  Up to 25%.
• Work Schedule:
  
  Typical hours 6:00a.m. to 6:00p.m., Monday–Friday; flexibility required to meet business needs.

• Proficient in PC and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficient in operating audiovisual equipment.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in electrical and specialty systems contractor field.
• Knowledge of adult educational principles and theory is preferred.
