Do you enjoy helping students build confidence in math? We're looking for enthusiastic, dependable math tutors to provide one-on-one instruction to students in grades 3–8 throughout El Paso.
Our tutors work with students who need extra support strengthening foundational math skills, improving problem-solving abilities, and gaining confidence in the classroom. We're looking for tutors who can explain concepts in multiple ways, adapt to different learning styles, and make math engaging and approachable.
One of the best parts of tutoring with us is the flexibility. You choose the students you'd like to work with and build a schedule that fits your availability. Once matched, we ask tutors to remain committed throughout the student's enrollment because consistency is essential for student success.
Responsibilities- Provide engaging one-on-one math tutoring for students in grades 3–8.
- Assess student strengths and identify areas for improvement.
- Teach and reinforce grade-level math concepts using individualized instruction.
- Help students develop problem-solving strategies and confidence.
- Support homework completion and skill reinforcement when appropriate.
- Follow the student's school curriculum when requested.
- Submit session reports promptly and communicate student progress with our team.
- Provide your own teaching materials when necessary.
- Reliable transportation (travel to students' homes is required).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Availability between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM on weekdays (weekend availability is a plus but not required).
- Strong understanding of upper elementary and middle school math concepts.
- Ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt instruction to each student's learning style.
Preferred Experience
- Previous tutoring or classroom teaching experience.
- Experience working with students who struggle with math.
- Experience working with students with ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism, or other learning differences.
- $22–$25 per hour (based on experience)
- Flexible scheduling—you choose your students and availability.
- We handle scheduling, billing, and administrative tasks.
- Easy-to-use online platform for session notes and communication.
- Meaningful work that helps students improve academically and gain confidence.

Please Note: Most tutoring opportunities are expected to begin during the second week of August as students return to school. We encourage interested applicants to apply early so we can complete the hiring and onboarding process before the school year begins.
