About this position:
Lieutenant Location – El Paso, TX

Wage/Salary Range: $32.89 per hr.
Applicants will be notified via phone or email within ten (10) business days of submittal.
- Observe shift muster, provide pass-down to the oncoming shift, conduct personnel inspection, and forward discrepancy reports to Management as necessary
- Directly supervising the Shift Supervisors in performance of duties in regard to company policy, ICE Policy, PBNDS, PREA, and Facility SOP.
- Supervise shift operations, ensuring Officers are performing their duties in accordance with post orders. Ensure all counts are conducted at prescribed times.
- Review Supervisor Post Checks/Prepare Daily Operations summary.
- Act as Incident Commander in conjunction with ICE.
- Responding to any/all incidents occurring on shift. Supervising the preparation of required incident reports, ensuring Management and Agency personnel are notified of all serious incidents, and all reports are submitted in a timely manner.
- Conducting employee/Detainee injury investigations in accordance with policies.
- Reviewing Record of Presence to ensure all shift personnel have signed in/out properly
- Conducting daily equipment inventory of controlled equipment.
- Preparing performance appraisals for Shift Supervisors.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications
- Education Requirements: Preferred Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Level of Experience Requirements: 6 months’ experience at the EPSPC
- Trained and familiar with all policies and procedures within the Control Center PQS Booklet
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
- Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
- Computer skills, including proficiency in various Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Obtain and Maintain PSU Clearance
- Ability to meet Physical Requirements as required by contract.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts.
- Well-versed in camp operations
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position will have supervisory responsibilities.
DOT Covered/Safety-Sensitive Role Requirements
- This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation "safety-sensitive" functions.
