Cost Engineering Manager

Overview

Manufacturing Company has a position open for a Costs Engineering Manager. This role will manage the coordination of engineering projects, lead and manage the inventory control team, and coordinate project tasks. The position involves developing project budgets and cost plans, analyzing and evaluating project costs, performing cost forecasting and analysis to track project performance, and providing cost engineering expertise and guidance.

• Review and approve cost estimates, change orders, and invoices.
• Maintain cost databases and identify and implement cost saving initiatives.
• Evaluate supplier quotes and conduct/review cost analysis.
• Assist in preparing company budgets and coordinate with the sales team to prepare client estimates and bids.
• Assess a project’s cost effectiveness and profitability; develop and maintain records and documentation of production costs.

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
• Five years’ experience in industrial engineering positions.
• Continuous improvement training required.
