Miller Industries is seeking a BIM Coordinator – Applications to work in our Flex Air Division in El Paso, TX
. The BIM Coordinator will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and workflows for various projects. This position requires expertise in Solid Works, Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) to ensure the successful integration, collaboration, and execution of 3D models and project data. On the Applications team, the BIM Coordinator will support the application engineering team with 3D modeling, pipe routing, and bill of material generation to support estimation of projects.
You Will Be Doing
- Work with the Flex Air sales team (applications, estimating, and sales) on generating 3D models of mechanical systems to support bids and estimation.
- Generate models and drawing packages used for pre‑sales submittals and project basis of design drawings.
- Work in Solid Works and/or Revit with pipe routing and hydronic system design including pipe take offs to support estimating on bids.
- Develop, manage, and maintain BIM models across disciplines using Revit and Solid Works.
- Coordinate 3D model reviews and clash detection using Navisworks, ensuring design accuracy and resolving conflicts efficiently.
- Manage BIM workflows and collaboration using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), facilitating communication between design, construction, and client teams.
- Establish and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and best practices across all projects.
- Work closely with Applications and Sales to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Oversee data management and integration to ensure seamless model sharing and version control.
- Conduct regular quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) checks on models to ensure compliance with industry and project‑specific standards.
- Provide training and support to team members on BIM tools and workflows.
- Stay up‑to‑date with advancements in BIM technologies and recommend innovative solutions for process improvement.

What Requirements Are Needed- Associate’s degree in architectural, engineering, construction management, or computer science, or related field preferred and minimum 3 years of experience in BIM coordination and modeling in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in Solid Works, Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
- Strong understanding of construction processes and design principles.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, with adaptability to changing designs and limited information in the sales phase of projects.
