Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated Tech Manual Maintenance Technician (TMMT) to support the Deployment, Fielding, and Sustainment (DFS) Integrated Product Team for the Lower Tier Air Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS) and Ghost Eye radars. The TMMT provides subject‑matter expertise in technical manual development, works closely with engineering IPTs, and ensures timely delivery of accurate technical content in an Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD) environment.
Responsibilities- Create and maintain technical manuals, including system functional theory, operations, preventive and corrective maintenance, removal and installation, and repair of parts and special tools.
- Provide technical assistance and additional support to TM personnel.
- Interpret and validate technical information such as system product information, compiled technical reports, drawings, and parts lists.
- Interface with the DoD customer and internal partners to optimize TM products and solutions for maximum operational readiness.
- Research and analyze documentation, thread memos, trade studies, and engineering SME input.
- Assess engineering change data for impacts to existing technical content.
- Provide support, mentorship, and development across sustainment disciplines.
- Drive flawless technical, schedule, and cost performance of sustainment products by establishing key process and product metrics and fostering continuous improvement.
- Contribute SE&TC inputs to proposals, support customer proposal negotiations, and execute program start‑up activities including integrated master planning and schedule development.
- University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
- Experience generating technical process documentation.
- Experience in a military environment; graduate of U.S. military sensor or radar technical school (e.g., Army MOS 94S Radar Repairer; MOS 14E Patriot Fire Control Operator/Maintainer).
- Experience with sensor or radar system operations and maintenance.
- Working knowledge of Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs).
- Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance using specific TM information.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and illustrated parts breakdowns from engineering reports, drawings, and parts lists.
- Understanding of radar system architecture – major assemblies and subsystems.
- Knowledge of repair, replace, and install procedures for selected items using maintenance tools and test equipment.
- Experience with Test Measurement Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) such as torque wrenches, multi‑meters, oscilloscopes, power meters, frequency counters, spectrum analyzers, and digital analyzers.
- Familiarity with the IBCS C2 Node (EOC) and Maintainer Monitoring Modules (M3) mission functions, support functions, and non‑tactical functions.
- Excellent technical writing, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of military standards.
- Ability to correlate, analyze, and interpret data per defined procedures and guidelines.
The salary range for this role is $107,500 – $204,500 USD, based on experience and location.
