Job Description
We are looking for an exceptionally talented Resident Engineer to join our team. In this role you will perform routine and well‑defined quality control inspection activities on assigned projects and functional areas to ensure that products or services meet customer and Parsons' requirements.
Program OverviewThe Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the Technical Support Services Contract 5 (T5) to Parsons as the prime contractor. This $1.8 billion+ contract has a 4‑year base period with two 3‑year options. The statement of work includes a variety of activities that support the FAA’s Capital Investment Plan modernization efforts, including site selection and engineering, construction, environmental and fire/life safety, equipment installation and testing, CAD, and other technical services.
Work is performed nationwide across the FAA’s nine regions and in various locations including Oklahoma City, OK, and Atlantic City, NJ.

- Airport NAVAIDS Upgrade
- UIS Tower Replacement
- Tenant Improvement
- Perform inspections/surveillances based on training received.
- Interact cross‑functionally with project team members and management.
- Implement inspection, examination, and testing procedures, and record inspection data.
- Perform and document inspections of subcontractor work.
- Perform First‑Article / In‑Process Inspection as needed (may include source inspection).
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements applicable to the work scope.
- Document and communicate inspection results clearly and concisely.
- Understand contract requirements and subcontractor contract requirements.
- Perform other functions associated with this position as appropriate.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Math, Quality, or a related field, or a high school/trade school diploma.
- Additional years of education beyond the minimum requirement are considered equivalent to work experience.
- 4+ years of related construction experience.
- 8+ years of equivalent work experience.
Must be able to pass a government background check. - Willingness to travel.
- Basic computer skills, including Windows, Word, Excel. Proficiency with scheduling software preferred.
- Experience taking photographs with a digital camera and uploading files.
- Ability to read and understand drawings, codes, standards, and specifications.
- Tower, concrete and civil experience highly preferred.
- Previous airport experience preferred.
- Self‑starter who learns and adapts quickly.
