Excellerate Sr. Preproduction Engineer

Senior Preproduction Engineer

Collaborate with the Preproduction Manager, Project Managers, and Estimating team members to prioritize and translate construction information into the production process. Responsible for designing and developing value‑added technical pricing and design solutions from concept through completion of detailed drawings. Guide and mentor direct reports, ensuring their success and development.

• Assists with project and preproduction estimates and proposals.
• Assists with coordinating design activities with consultants, subcontractor partners, and clients.
• Leads the front‑end of projects, achieving goals and managing multiple priorities.
• Represents the company exceptionally to internal and external customers.
• Participates in conceptual design, collaborating with internal and external teams to facilitate project design, documentation, and compliance with project requirements.
• Reviews and maintains engineering and manufacturing drawings and models to ensure alignment with production and project requirements.
• Proactively resolves design issues and BIM conflicts.
• Identifies building methods and breaks down manufacturing drawings for production.
• Optimizes designs for manufacturability and installation efficiency.
• Supports the development and implementation of company processes and standards.
• Captures and applies lessons learned from previous projects or products on sequence, duration, logistics, and work package content.
• Supports the development of Excellerate processes.
• Demonstrates approachability, collaboration with others, and effective influence.
• Understands overall Excellerate direction and capabilities.
• Participates in Faith's hiring referral and mentoring program.
• Performs other related duties as required.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Experience:
  
  5+ years of electrical or systems experience or entry‑level CAD/Revit or Accubid experience and 5 or more years of manufacturing and/or construction experience preferred.
• Travel: 15‑25%.
• Work Schedule:
  
  Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. Work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
