Position Summary
Link 16 Engineer – a long‑term international assignment (LTIA) located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance on day one, along with the ability to obtain a Saudi Arabia visa. Employees will work onsite.
Responsibilities- Provide technical advice, assistance, planning, and demonstration of methods for testing, configuration, and operation of PATRIOT Tactical Data Link communications and related equipment covered under the TAA for the HPLSS program.
- Diagnose tactical data link equipment and network connectivity, determine cause and location of communication equipment malfunctions, and recommend repair disposition.
- Perform field troubleshooting and fault isolation on communication equipment at field sites.
- Participate in developing On‑Job‑Training programs and assist the section officer in enforcing policies, procedures, and standards.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in troubleshooting, fault isolation, and functional verification of MIDS terminals and JRE/CDLI workstations.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with military standard 6016 and 3011C over IP‑enabled networks and experience working with the Network Design Facilities (NDF).
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with a theater‑level Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) and Data Link Managers.
- Experience with PATRIOT Battalion Higher Echelon Unit (HEU) initialization.
- Current Secret Clearance and ability to obtain a Saudi Arabia visa.
- Completed the JT‑301 Joint Interface Control Officer Course (JICO).
- Completed the JT‑101 Link 16 Joint Interoperability Course, JT‑102 MULTI‑TDL Advanced Joint Interoperability Course (MAJIC), and the JT‑201 Link‑16 Planner Course.
- US Army 140A, 14H, or 14G with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, networking, Linux/Unix operating systems, or a related field with 5 years of relevant experience.
- Associate’s Degree with 8 years of relevant experience (or higher requirement as specified).
Salary range: 107,500 USD – 204,500 USD.
