Parsons is now hiring an experienced Senior Project Manager with a desire to work on creating innovative, practical solutions to various projects that enhance the fabric of our community.

Our Project Managers still get very involved in the designs on the project. Experience on projects through project life-cycle from concept (pre-FEED) straight through to commissioning and startup. The selected candidate will have a demonstrated ability to manage multi-discipline teams doing feasibility, FEED and detailed engineering, procurement support and construction phases of capital projects. They will have comprehensive knowledge of industry standards while having a proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications

** What you'll be doing:*
* + Performs senior project management responsibilities on an large industrial/data center Capital Projects

+ Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing to project team and Parsons' clients. Experience in preparing correspondence, written reports, presentations, and proposals.

+ Responsible for the execution of complex electrical infrastructure projects across from pre-construction to completion, while ensuring the project remains on schedule and within budget. High Voltage Electrical / Substations is a key experience to be successful in this role.

+ This is an on-site leadership role responsible as part of an owner's orgniaztion and this individua will be managing delivery from Notice to Proceed (NTP) through energization and turnover to Operations

+ Establish site specific safety requirements in partnership with the safety team to ensure programs and policies are established and executed

+ Establish a Project Execution Plan in cooperation with the pre-construction and operations personnel to facilitate contract management/compliance, resource planning and tracking, procurement requirements, and critical path schedule management

+ Oversee EPC contractors and ensure alignment with contract scope, schedule, and performance requirements

+ Maintain executive-level communication with internal leadership and key project stakeholders

+ Lead cross-functional coordination across Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Power, SCADA, and Site Operations teams

+ Financial monitoring and reporting including cost monitoring, cost and revenue projections, change order logs, under/over-billing reports, invoicing

+ Maintain Project records

+ Manage the procurement of materials and subcontracts to include on-site management and, receiving, progress reporting, invoicing and committed cost management

+ Submit monthly cost to complete projections

+ Pre-construction planning with project team

+ Estimate review to understand strategies, risks, and opportunities

+ Identify any gaps for engineering deliverables associated with Stage and Gate process/Front End Loading funding concepts for industrial projects and work with customers and internal team to resolve it in a timely manner

+ Integrate competing and/or conflicting elements into the planning and execution processes so that project requirements flow smoothly.

+ Having oversight of a specific area and establishing a course of action within limits of company practices and guidelines,

+ Oversee project controls and other project service functions on a mid to large TIC projects

+ For a larger project, develops a complete understanding of the contract and any relevant subcontracts in order to provide full support to the project management team

+ Acts as the Company representative with the client and selected subcontractors during the program execution.

+ Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors.

+ Markets and secures additional work with client.

+ Verify with the Client Project Director (PD) that project requirements for Baseline Centric Execution, safety, quality, cost, and productivity are met.

+ Draft for the Project Director (PD) approval the project baseline and verify that it is fully documented, updated, and communicated to the project team as appropriate ,

+ Support the PD to deliver the project in accordance with the project execution and commercial baselines

+ Participate in sales and marketing efforts as requested

+ Establishes the program requirements for all areas of the project, and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.
