Industrial Engineer (Electronics Repair) (Full Time)
Location: El Paso, TX

ExpressPoint has a full-time opportunity for an Industrial Engineer in our East El Paso facility. This position designs, implements, monitors, and improves operational processes to increase efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Works closely with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and ensure processes meet regulatory and business requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost.
  • Design, develop, and implement new or improved processes and production methods.
  • Monitor process performance using data analysis, KPIs, and statistical tools.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and lead corrective and preventive actions.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
  • Support process validation, equipment qualification, and commissioning activities.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
  • Train operators and staff on new or updated processes.
  • Ensure timely, tactful, and respectful communication with all internal and external customers.
  • Enforce all policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electro-Mechanical, or related field).
  • Experience:

    5+ years related experience in process engineering or manufacturing/operations environments. Electronics industry experience preferred (electromechanical product, POS systems, computer systems).
  • Experience with automation, process control systems, or ERP/MES systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, SPC). Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, process flow diagrams, and data reports.
  • Proficiency in standard engineering and data analysis tools.
  • Project management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working in production, logistics, and office environments. Requires time on the production/logistics floor.
  • Able to work and travel in Juárez/El Paso. Occasional travel and extended hours during project implementations.
