Position: HVAC Facilities Engineer – Field Engineering, Onsite.

U.S. citizenship and active secret security clearance required. Long‑term international assignment in Qatar.

• Support operations, maintenance, and integration of the Qatar Early Warning Radar (QEWR) HVAC facilities.
• Lead HVAC facility maintenance as the technical point of contact for customer operation, maintenance, and inspection procedures.
• Integrate, test, and analyze mechanical hardware; coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
• Lead teams or sub‑contractors in completing HVAC tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks (PMCS), troubleshoot, and repair HVAC support EWR systems.
• Coordinate PMCS and repair activities and provide input to operational reports.
• Develop maintenance plans and record non‑conformance in MRO.
• Establish maintenance and repair schedules based on equipment availability, parts, tools, personnel, and mission requirements.
• Implement administrative procedures for procurement, storage, and issue of parts and tools.
• Manage maintenance float items and perform material and equipment movements.
• Maintain accountability of tools and equipment.
• Observe safety rules and wear required personal safety equipment.

• Completed HVAC course or apprenticeship from a recognized institute; EPA Section 608 and HVAC Excellence certifications.
• At least 2 years of HVAC engineering, development, or testing experience, preferably defense‑related.
• Experience with engineering documentation and communication of technical problems.
• Ability to manage cross‑discipline teams, direct, delegate, and review the work of others.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with program management and customers.
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting techniques of HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of safe work practices; able to work in harsh climates and lift 50 lbs.

• 8+ years of HVAC engineering or testing experience, including defense‑related components.
• Collaboration, training, and teamwork experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience in International EWR FMS programs.
• Experience living and working overseas.
• Contractor logistics support experience.
• North American Technician Excellence (NATE) certification.

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related experience, or Associate’s degree with 8 years, or HS diploma/GED with 12 years of related experience.

• Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
