· 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing, New Product Introduction (NPI) / Product Transfer, Product or Process Development
· Experience in medical device
· Experience with validation, installation, qualification, commissioning (instrument qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ))
· Working knowledge of GMP, ISO, EHS, and statistical methods
· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MS Project, and Minitab
· Bilingual (English/Spanish)
OverviewThis role leads and supports technical activities related to new product transfers and product/process development. The engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and coordinating manufacturing readiness, validation, and process optimization in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate suppliers for the design and manufacturing of custom equipment and tooling
- Manage purchase, delivery, and installation of manufacturing equipment
- Develop and execute validation protocols and reports (IQ/OQ/PQ/PPQ)
- Perform test method validation and Gage R&R studies
- Create and maintain SOPs and manufacturing procedures
- Lead component and process qualifications
- Conduct process characterization and Design of Experiments (DOE)
- Support manufacturing line design and capacity analysis
- Prepare documentation and justification for capital projects
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO, and company quality standards
- Perform root cause investigations and support continuous improvement
