Water​/Wastewater Project Engineer

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer with 4 – 10 years of experience to join our team in El Paso or Las Cruces, Texas. The role will primarily focus on water/wastewater projects, including supply, conveyance, treatment, and disposal. We are looking for a self‑motivated professional who is eager to lead and grow in a fast‑paced team environment.

The position may include production management, project management, contracting, mentoring, and client management. We want motivated individuals who want to grow their careers and find excitement working on multiple projects that enhance our firm’s culture. This role provides the opportunity to work not only with water/wastewater projects but also collaborate with other sectors’ projects.

• Work independently while interacting well with other team members.
• Contact and visit clients for business development/marketing, including attendance at local industry conferences and seminars.
• Demonstrate high degree of intrapersonal and communication skills.
• Show proven teamwork and problem‑solving skills.
• Comfortable managing and developing business client relationships.
• Proficient in managing a wide range of water and wastewater projects to meet client schedules and budgets.
• Mentor engineers in training and design staff in project execution and client expectations.
• Exhibit excellent work ethic and comprehensive understanding of engineering principles.

• BS in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering (emphasis).
• MS in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering is preferred.
• 4 – 10 years of experience.
• TXPE license or the ability to obtain a license within six months is required.
• Experience with plan production and familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD MEP3D, AutoCAD Plant3D, or Revit is preferred.
• Experience with hydraulic and environmental calculations and technical report writing.
• Experience with hydraulic modeling using WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, Info Water, or Info Sewer.

$101,000 – $150,000 (Depending on experience)
